Our Story
MaisTrade was founded in 2020 by a group of agricultural experts and farmers who recognized the challenges faced by individual farmers in accessing markets, securing fair prices, and adopting sustainable practices.
What began as a small initiative in a single community has grown into a nationwide platform that connects thousands of farmers, providing them with the tools, resources, and support they need to thrive in an increasingly competitive agricultural landscape.
Our name, "MaisTrade," reflects our roots in maize farming, which is a staple crop in many of the communities we serve. However, our platform now supports farmers across all agricultural sectors, from crop production to livestock management.
